Seaside

Seaside is that cute little beach community seen in movies... literally... The Truman Show was filmed there.  We went to Seaside for lunch at Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar and then visited the local shops around town.  Emilia loved the amphitheater lawn!  We found a painted fish made out of scrap metal for Beau's room and 3 paintings- 2 are acrylic with an epoxy dripped on top that makes them look like they're wet and then another one made with acrylic, glass, and sand.

We had dinner at The Great Southern Cafe one night and it was fantastic!  Before watching the summer concert series, we snacked on rich ice cream and gelato at Heavenly Shortcakes & Ice Cream which had a line out the door and just got longer as the day turned into night.  And then we picked up a book for Beau and Emilia at Sundog Books.

 Blue tongue from the best snowcones at Frost Bites!!  We had one every day but I never took a picture!!

We also had lunch at Pickles on Wednesday.  Although be warned that there wasn't any fried catfish to be found and sweet tea was rare so Tyler was ready to get back home to Mississippi.
