Easter

The Easter bunny visited the ranch so Emilia, Beau and Mia went egg hunting.

 

Beau and Poppy went to look at the cows before the egg hunt.  He loves the ranch and his Poppy!

 

 

Craft Cabinet organization

Emilia loves art so we have a cabinet in our kitchen devoted to her markers, crayons, coloring books, paper, etc.  Needless to say it gets to be disaster area in there so we bought some new boxes with lids to hold the markers, colors, etc. so they don't get dumped over and lost at the bottom where they will never be seen again until we clean it out.  I also convinced Emilia that it's okay to recycle some of these creations since we can take pictures of them.

Beau Feeding the Belties

My dad just emailed these pictures of Beau feeding the Belted Galloways on Easter. He loves the moos! And he's not wearing a shirt since we took it off when he ate lunch.

Egg Hunts

Emilia had a egg hunt at school the morning of her birthday.  Every student sent 12 eggs to school with site words taped on them.  Then during the egg hunt, they had their list of words and had to find an egg to match each of them.  Emilia was 1st in her class but at least everyone had 12 eggs to find.

Then Beau's egg hunt was in the afternoon.  I picked E up a little early from school since she wanted to help her brother.  Good thing since the kids were more excited to play on their old playground and tree than picking up eggs!  Afterwards they had a class party.

Emilia is 6!  She opened presents before going to school.

 Emilia got to blow out candles for her birthday (unlike at the park when the wind blew them out).  And we did give her the extra one to grow on!

 And since it was her birthday, we cut out the pink flower from the cake as her piece.

 Emilia got this in the mail from Bethanee!  And it's one that she didn't get!
