Beau: Age 6

Today Beau turns 6!  This weekend he celebrated with a dinosaur pool party!  He's now lived in the USA longer than Australia although he loves to wear his swim trunks around all day without a shirt or shoes.  He talks... a lot.  He always wants to play legos, cars, dinosaurs, restaurant, house or with the Star Wars light sabers.  Beau makes friends easily and thinks McDonald's is great because you get a toy and there's a play structure where he can always find a group of boys to play with.  He's looking forward to kindergarten where he'll get to ride the bus to school.

Beau is 5 today!  Yesterday we celebrated with our families (plus Evan, Stef and Avery that are practically family!) at the ranch with a camouflage /army party with water balloons, water guns and cows.

Beau's Pre-kindy Performance and Party

Beau's pre-kindy class had a presentation of songs that they've learned this year like "Frere Jacques" in French and English, "Jingle Bells" (Aussie version and traditional) and others like "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes".  Beau loves doing the actions!

 We were supposed to have red chocolate ends to look like matches but the red food coloring messed up the white chocolate.  Lesson learned: buy colored chocolate.

The fire truck and building.  It was a happy extra cake from cutoffs that made it the perfect blowing out/spit cake for Beau.
