Delay in more posts

I apologize for the delay in more posts. I tried to work on it this weekend but Picasa (the program I select and edit all the pictures in) won't load. Well it was running really slowly so I restarted the computer and now it won't load. I've tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but it's not working. The only thing we can figure that we've done is update iTunes. So until it's working, I will continue to be 2 months behind. Emilia is on her next school break and these Sydney pictures were from the winter break. I promise we also celebrated Beau's 3rd birthday in August!

Sydney - Day 5 Bondi Beach

Chris's parents didn't get to leave when they wanted to on the morning of Day 5 since they fly stand by and a flight the day before had been cancelled.  They didn't leave on Day 6 either since it looked like if they left on Day 7 that they could fly First Class all the way back to Houston.

So Day 5 we went to the famous Bondi Beach.  I was expecting something a lot bigger but it was pretty and not very crowded in the winter.  There were lots of people in wetsuits in the water waiting for waves on their surfboards.  We also learned that our kids will always get in the water and play in the sand whether it's winter or not so they should wear their swimsuits whenever we go to a beach.

Afterwards I also got my American furniture store fix of Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm.

Beau is completely soaked now after falling over a wave

This is so wrong for so many reasons

Sydney - Day 4 Sydney Harbour Cruise

This was originally going to be the last day we had with Chris's parents so we took a Sydney Harbour Cruise that included Morning Tea.  We also went to the Sydney Tower Eye after lunch.  The same shopping center had The Gap so we shopped for a few new clothes for the kids and ourselves.

Sydney - Day 3 The Blue Mountains

We took a 2 hour train ride to The Blue Mountains while Chris's parents did some more exploring around Sydney.  We bought passes for the Blue Mountain Explorer bus that makes a loop through the little towns and Scenic World.  So our first stop was Scenic World which has gondolas across the  Jamison Valley with gorgeous views of Katoomba Falls and Three Sisters.  When we arrived there was fog over the trees but it turned into a nice sunny day.  They have the steepest railway in the world - a 52 degree incline - to get you to the boardwalk through the rainforest.  Before we left, we rode that down and then ran around to ride it up again... with the incline at 64 degrees.
