Dad's 68th Birthday

We went up to the ranch to celebrate my Dad's 68th birthday.  In Texas fashion, my dad got a gun "The Judge" with lots of different ammo and we checked out their cows.

Day in The Woodlands

While Chris went to his old school for a visit, I took the kids to the mall.  We visited the Disney store, Journeys Kidz, had Chick-Fil-A for lunch, got a battery for Chris's watch, went to Anthropologie and Pottery Barn and then ended with a ride on the carousel.  After spending some time playing at Chris's parents house, Chris's dad and I took the kids to the park before Chris and his mom got home from school.
Beau smiled for this picture but he wanted to sit in the "sleigh"

Now he's happy

Yes, this is the last post from our trip home for Christmas.  And Post #300 of this blog!

Company Picnic (Part 1)

My company picnic was on the Kemah Boardwalk this year.  The camera died pretty soon after arriving so this is missing some of the train pictures, the 1st carousal ride, Ferris wheel, Emilia and I on the swings and Chris and Emilia on the Drop Zone.  She and Chris rode on the wooden roller coaster but Emilia didn't like it so I didn't get to go.

Emilia made herself some new friends so she could do the teacup on the carousel.

Phone pictures dump

I haven't forgotten about the blog.  I just don't have any pictures downloaded from the camera!  It's been busy around our house.  Emilia had her last soccer games of the spring and also started swim practice.  She had her time trials last Saturday and placed 6th in Freestyle and 8th in Backstroke out of 18 girls in the 6 & under group.

This was taken at a Pump It Up birthday when a group of kids piled into the tornado machine.  The number on the back wall is the wind speed mph.

Emilia was showing off her pink glitter Toms.
We hardly have any pictures of Freckles since he ends up as a blur trying to be next to me.

Sneak peek- Our house is getting painted if the rain will stop long enough for them to finish!  This is after it had been pressure washed and caulked with the color test samples up.

Bluebonnets

We took pictures after church at Rob Fleming park in Creekside.  This was the best patch of bluebonnets we found around The Woodlands since a lot of the weeds were taller than the flowers.
