Freemantle Prison

We went to visit the Freemantle Prison when Chris's parents were here. I wasn't sure how the kids would do so we took the hour-long tour and that was fine.  The prison was opened in the 1850's and then closed in the 1991.  There was never running water so they got a bucket at night.  It was interesting to see the changes in the cells through the years and some of the art the inmates made on their walls.  The solitary cells were crazy isolated through double doors to the actual cell with the smallest window.

Emilia's favorite bed was the hammock.

Later in Freo when Mamaw was buying Uggs, Beau was climbing on the bike sculpture.
